BIP OST OF CONTROL, BIP 2010, LIEGE.

The OST collective, of which I was a member at the time, was invited by the BIP 2010 to conduct, in advance of the 7th International Biennial of Photography and Visual Arts in Liège, a vast work alternating workshops and creative interventions. Connected with schools and numerous associations in the Liège region, the Oiseaux sans Tête were able to share with citizens the theme of the 2010 biennial: control and its antithesis, loss of control. For more than a year, in a playful, positive and lively way, the participants explored the different facets of their daily lives in the light of (non) control and, in doing so, as if in an abyss, they regained or lost control of their own image, their living territories, their relational fabric. (OST OF)CONTROL- Bip is watching you!, the exhibition presented at the old Saint-André church as part of BIP2010, wanted to give an account of this exciting adventure: documentary work, logbook, experimentation of the social and its space-time, creation of a future and of “fiction of life” are all there. But it also wanted to be, for 2 months, a place of animation open to all, in the heart of the city.
